As the leading community-based education and support resource in Montana for people and their families impacted by cancer, CSC MT ensures that no one faces cancer alone. We are seeking the next Chief Executive Officer to provide visionary leadership to ensure that the organization is continually well equipped to advance the organization in terms of culture, capability, processes, and impact. Reporting to the Board of Trustees, the CEO will be based at the organization’s offices in Bozeman, Montana and have overall management responsibility for a growing and compelling organization that provides cancer support services to the entire state of Montana.

The successful candidate must be a skilled nonprofit business leader and must demonstrate sophisticated management abilities that will drive organizational success and empower high performing staff.

This full-time key position includes moderate travel throughout the state to chapter and outreach locations and to national meetings held by CSC Headquarters.

Because the CEO position requires a broad range of specific skills and background, CSC is offering the following:

SIGN-ON BONUS: $2500 at time of hire plus $2,500 at successful completion of the 9-month probationary employment period.

In addition, relocation assistance is available if needed.

WAGES & BENEFITS:

· Anticipated starting range of $105,000 - $125,000. Starting wage is commensurate with experience and qualifications.

QUALIFICATIONS SUMMARY:

· Bachelor’s degree required plus a minimum of five years of prior experience as a CEO, Executive Director, or a related position at a nonprofit, foundation, government entity, or industry-related organization; or equivalent combination of education and experience to fully meet the obligations of the position.

· Proven experience executing organization growth and leading a similar or larger size successful nonprofit and/or related entity with a $1,200,000 annual budget, and 10+ employees.

· A background in health and human services as well as cancer care is a plus.

· Experience in working with Indigenous, rural populations in a healthcare setting is preferred.

· Master’s degree in relevant field preferred.

Pay: $105,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
