Program Director
A nonprofit organization in Portsmouth, NH is seeking a mission-driven, compassionate professional for their Program Director role. This direct-hire opportunity is your chance to positively impact the community by ensuring excellence in the delivery, evaluation, and strategic growth of our client’s programs.
Responsibilities of the Program Director
- Lead organization-wide strategic plan initiatives regarding program services
- Build and maintain strong relationships with community stakeholders, partners, key constituents, and within the organization
- Develop and implement strategies that will maximize the synergies between the program and development teams
- Lead (and/or partner on) research and evaluation initiatives that enhance understanding of the impact of our program services
- Develop and implement marketing initiatives
- Collaborate on efforts to ensure program resources are sufficient to meet goals and outcomes, and are effectively and efficiently utilized
- Ensure adherence to the organization’s mission and program model
Qualifications of the Program Director
- Master’s degree in social work, allied health (occupational therapy, physical therapy, recreation therapy, speech/language pathology), or related field; licensure preferred
- 5+ years of client service and program management experience
- 2+ years of experience leading a high-performing and collaborative team
- Experience in community-based practice and resource referral strongly preferred
- High level of integrity, emotional intelligence, and commitment
- Demonstrated success overseeing, developing, and evaluating innovative programs
- Proficient in using technology as a management reporting tool
