We are looking for someone with their clinical licensure in Illinois as a Certified Alcohol and Other Drug Counselor (CADC) or higher, Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Social Worker (LSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC).

Salary From: $125,000 Annually

Job Type: Full-time

Executive Director, Southwood Interventions

Overview

This position is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of residential facilities, including medically monitored detoxification and/or community-based programs within a geographic region to ensure clients receive the highest level of services in a safe and secure environment.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

. Manages the operations of residential facilities, including medically monitored detoxification and/or community-based programs within a geographic region to ensure clients receive the highest level of services in a safe and secure environment.

. Assures quality and continuity of services and curriculum within established parameters that includes internal policies and external licensing requirements.

. Ensures compliance in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations within the geographic region.

. Ensures policies and procedures compliance with all applicable licensing regulations, accreditation standards, federal, state, and local regulatory standards.

. Monitors and manages day to day operations to ensure policy compliance, effective client supervision, delivery of quality services, and the facilitation of program/facility schedule.

. Review utilization, retention, completion, and fiscal performance with respect to projected goals and assists with strategy to accomplish the goals.

. Supervises, assists with hiring, and evaluates staff performance, develops measurable objectives for necessary improvements and implements appropriate corrective action to staff adhering to human resources policies and utilizing Human Resources when necessary.

. Confers with local agencies and internal contacts such as social service, community relations, criminal justice, consultants, and other program/facility staff members to interpret the programmatic activities and objectives as well as developing cooperative working relationships.

. Develop, monitor, and administer annualized fiscal budgets based upon corporate guidelines and ensures quality services and cost-effective operations.

. Develop and implement appropriate performance improvement processes within the program/facility.

. Evaluates program/facility training needs for staff members and coordinates and implements training activities and programs.

. Communicates regularly and thoroughly with appropriate supervisory staff member on matters such as operational, administrative, and personnel issues within the region.

. Responsible for new business development, marketing, and community development within the region.

Minimum Requirements:

Master of Arts/Science Degree in addictions, social work, psychology or human services related discipline; plus, four years of experience in a managerial position; CADC, LSW, LCSW, LPC, or LCPC required.

The following credentials may substitute:

Bachelor of Arts/Science Degree in addictions, social work, psychology or human services related discipline; plus, five years of experience in a managerial position; CADC, LSW, LCSW, LPC, or LCPC required.

  • At least twenty-one (21) years of age.
  • Criminal clearances (Act 33 and 34, specific State & child clearances and, if necessary, FBI).
  • Pass Drug Screening and TB Testing.
  • Valid driver's license from employee's state of residence.
  • Valid registered vehicle insurance.
  • Ability to work with computers and the necessary software typically used by the department.
