Senior Director position is eligible for new hire incentives and participates in the Director Incentive Plan.
Located in La Jolla, this is a remote local position.

O As Senior Director, Corporate Development, you will partner with senior leadership to develop strategic partnerships and alignments to support achievement of strategic plan.
O Lead aspects of acquisition and divestiture projects including preliminary due diligence, financial analysis, transaction structuring and negotiation of agreements.
O Provide analysis and recommendations on implications of range of strategic and/or operational alternatives.
O Manage due diligence process and ensue adherence to consistent quality standards.
O Works with leadership team to identify acquisition candidates, structure the deal, direct due diligence and participate in negotiations and activities to close acquisitions.
O Participate in and take ownership of material aspects of the transaction or deal.
O Significant interaction with corporate development leaderships team and senior executives.
O Requires strong ability to assess and communicate options to executive management.
O Develop and generate strategic ideas through independent analysis and familiarity with industry trends.
Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
* Significant knowledge of present and potential health care services and operations including business models.
* Demonstrated experience range of mergers and acquisitions including valuation, transaction structuring and negotiation.
* Strategic and analytical thinker with ability to focus on details, synthesize broad amount of information into actionable information for senior executives.
* Able to quickly spot issues and develop a recommended approach.
* Exceptional quantitative skills.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Able to concisely present orally and in presentations.
* Self-starter with ability to streamline executive decision-making.
* Strong leadership skills.
* Ability to develop junior team.
* Ability to efficiently manage multiple processes.
* Team player with ability to build broad relationships internally and externally.
* Excellent finance and/or accounting skills with knowledge of key current and emerging issues impacting strategic transactions.
Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:
* Master's in Business or related field, JD or CPA.
Preferred Experience:
* Minimum of five (5) years transactions/corporate development experience.
* Experience in the healthcare sector a plus.
