Overview of the Role:
As the Director of Quality & Training, you will be an integral part of the Foundation 2 Crisis Services Leadership team, leading to the success of our agency. The Director of Quality & Training is responsible for overseeing the development, implementation and management of quality assurance initiatives and training across all programs provided by the agency. This role is pivotal in ensuring that all programs and services meet the highest standards of quality, compliance and effectiveness. Additionally, the Director of Quality & Training is responsible for creating and promoting a staff development program that emphasizes best practice and continued learning.
Shift: This is a salaried role working 40 hours per week, primarily Monday – Friday. Some weekends and evenings will be required.

- Starting Salary: $80,000/year commensurate on experience, licensure, certification, etc.

What you’ll do:
- Develop, implement and monitor a comprehensive quality improvement/quality assurance program to monitor and evaluate effectiveness of services, compliance and opportunities for improvement and/or ongoing training.
- Establish and maintain annual quality standards and performance metrics in collaboration with the COO and program managers.
- Directly supervise quality and training staff members.
- Oversee and conduct regular audits, reviews and evaluations of records, reports and agency programs to ensure continuous quality improvement.
- Oversee the Foundation 2 Quality Improvement/Quality Assurance committee
- Design, develop, implement and oversee Foundation 2 training programs for all staff
- Deliver trainings to staff with support of your team, to ensure all staff are properly trained
- Develop and oversee ongoing staff development and ensure alignment with all regulations
- Lead all accreditation, licensure and reaccreditation visits/processes
- Develop plans to implement agency strategic goals
What you need:
- BA/BS in a human/social services, public health, public policy. Degrees from other disciplines will be considered with requisite experience; master’s degree preferred
- 5-7 years professional experience in the quality assurance, risk management or related field within human services required
- 2-3 years’ experience in a leadership role with supervisory experience
- Excellent attention to detail; experience showing compliance with regulation, accreditation and licensure standard
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Comfort using computer software including Office 365, Microsoft Teams, Electronic Health Records, etc.
- Live in the Cedar Rapids area.
- Pass all background checks completed by Foundation 2 Crisis Services.
