JOB DETAILS

LOCATION:San Diego, California

JOB STATUS:Full-Time

TRAVEL:25% travel, embarked at sea overnight

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

* SECURITY CLEARANCE:Must be eligible to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance.

* CITIZENSHIP: Current U.S. Citizenship Required.

* CERTIFICATIONS:Current USCG MMC National Master Less Than 200 GRT, or higher.

* Must have at least 3 years of sea-going experience in a Master position.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

* Bachelor of Science. Will also consider candidates with a HS diploma andsignificantexperience/certification.

* Experience operating with Navy/Military units.

* Experience with maintaining and operating hull, mechanical and electrical systems. I.E. - diesel engines, fuel systems, electric motors, pumps, 480/120 VAC and 24/12 VDC systems.

* Proficiency with Microsoft 365 Suite.

* Ability to read and understand technical drawings and schematics.

* Experience working with shipyard facilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Pilot USV's in and out of port or at sea when operating in a manned configuration.

* Operate, maintain and monitor HM&E systems while in port and at sea (onboard and remotely).

* Assist with planning shipyard maintenance availabilities and overhauls.

* Assist with USV system development and payload integration.

* Be an excellent people leader and communicator.

SALARY RANGE: Estimated $95,000 USD annually
