Job Description
This is an academic nine-month position with full benefits. This position requires a commitment to teaching in a dynamic community college setting and the ability to successfully interact and respond to the broad ranging needs of an academically and culturally diverse campus setting. The instructor will provide instruction in: Principles of Accounting I, Principles of Accounting II, Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, Legal Environment of Business, Quantitative Analysis, Business Calculus, Personal Finance, MS Office Professional Suite.All SAU Tech employees are expected to demonstrate excellence in interpersonal behaviors and be committed to effective collaboration with colleagues. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
This position will be responsible for: Teaching a minimum of 15-18 semester hours each Fall and Spring semester with primary instruction in Business Administration including Internet classes.Teaching other Business-related courses as needed.Teaching Internet and streaming courses as needed.Maintaining office hours to be accessible as needed for student conferences.Assisting in curriculum development and selection of instructional materials.In addition to teaching duties, the faculty member will be expected to maintain active participation in non-instructional campus responsibilities such as college and departmental initiatives, committee work, student record keeping, curriculum planning, assessment of student learning, recruiting, sponsorship of student organizations, and professional development.Utilizing talents, academic background, and personal qualities to serve the best interest of student and the College
