Clinical Program Coordinator (Tech) - San Diego
Job Description
This is a Full-Time position, Monday - Friday day shift and is located at Scripps Mercy Hospital in San Diego with the ability to also work at Scripps Mercy Chula Vista when needed.
The Clinical Program Coordinator is responsible for planning, implementing, and coordinating services and activities associated with the assigned clinical program. This position acts as an expert clinical resource and communications liaison to physicians, office personnel, nursing staff, allied health professionals, outside agency and community resources, and patients and their families. Through involvement in clinical consultation and direct patient care, assesses and improves the patient care process for the program. This position is responsible for maintaining quality and regulatory standards, maintaining current and accurate policies and associated documents, serving as a link integrating relevant research, best practice and clinical delivery processes procedures and practices, all in a manner which is consistent with the Mission and Vision of Scripps Health. Collects and disseminates clinical quality performance data to site and system committees.

Required Certifications/Experience:
- Five years recent clinical experience in area of program specialty (Rad Tech, IR Tech, or Cath Lab/EP Tech)
- CRT
- Fluoro
- BLS through the American Heart Association
Preferred Certifications/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare field
- Ten plus years recent clinical experience in the area of specialty
- ARRT
