Homeless Solutions Coalition of Clackamas County (HSCCC) is a newly formed non-profit, born of years of volunteer community action to coordinate the homeless services of many organizations around Clackamas County. HSCCC is fundraising for and building a facility in Oregon City, the Caring Place, which will co-house several social and health service providers in one centralized location. HSCCC is not a direct-service provider but coordinates and supports the work of other homeless service providers, across Clackamas County. Our goal is to prevent homelessness and make it rare, brief, and non-recurring in Clackamas County.

Summary

This new position will be integral in providing administrative and communications support to the Executive Director, Board committee chairs and program managers. The ability to embrace the mission and help bring the people and processes together to execute the vision will put them in the center to create a significant impact on the future of HSCCC. This is a full-time, hybrid work model, working out of an Oregon City office with occasional travel to meetings throughout Clackamas County.

Essential Functions

  • Develop and maintain agency communications platforms at a high level of professional quality including web and social media, branding, newsletters, listservs, virtual meetings, and calendars
  • Prepare meeting minutes, agendas and communications internally and externally with partners and government agencies. Occasionally facilitate or help facilitate meetings.
  • Assist Communications Chair to manage regular virtual community provider meetings, newsletters, press releases and other communications.
  • Manage day-to-day office operations, facilities, overseeing relations with vendors and contractors.
  • Assist with furnishings, equipment and systems purchase, installation and maintenance.
  • Assist the Executive Director and Development Committee with grant writing and grant management, maintaining a schedule of due dates and deliverables.
  • Event planning logistics for booking and hosting public meetings and events of various sizes.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience providing administrative office and communications support
  • Experience working with homeless or social services agencies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to maintain a newsletter
  • Experience with social media and website management
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, and graphics platforms
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively
  • Experience facilitating meetings
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and quality
  • Ability to travel within Clackamas County

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
