Administrative Assistant
Job Description
Primary responsibility is to prepare, track and maintain the Academy application process and to fulfill other administrative duties.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Retrieve application through email (once filled out by applicant, sent directly to my inbox) or mail
- Enter all information from application into CAMS database.
- Fax request for transcript and SAT/ACT scores from applicant’s high school
- When transcript is received obtain file and mark GPA, RANK, SAT.ACT scores in file as well as in CAMS database.
- Forward information to the counselor, who will review the applicant for acceptance, conditionally accepted or rejected.
- Change CAMS to “prospect” to “students” or if rejected applicant stays as a “prospect” with “rejected” as the applicant’s status.
- Distribute copies of the application to the right personnel
- Send documents to parents regarding medicine, past school records, etc.
- Answer telephones, assist callers with needed information or transfer to other departments.
- Schedule appointments for potential applicants who wish to have an interview/tour with an Admissions Counselor.
- Assist the Director of Financial Aid
QUALIFICATIONS:

- High School Diploma required, bachelor’s degree desired.
- Minimum of two-(2) years’ administrative experience.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.

- May include some weekend work
