The Center for Family and Child Enrichment (CFCE) is dedicated to help children and their families by providing the right services and solutions based on individual needs. CFCE is constantly evolving to better support our community.

As a Human Resources Manager, you will oversee and direct the classical functions of staff management, benefits administration, employee relations, performance manager, recruiting, incentive programs, and ensuring the company complies with all state and federal requirements. This position directly manages two employees

Some of the Functions Include:
  • Identify legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensure policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance (i.e. Affirmative Action, EEO, FLSA, Unemployment and Worker’s Compensation)
  • Ensure that personnel files are properly maintained for auditing purposes
  • Assist with salary administration program to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within organization
  • Recruit, interview, and assist with selecting employees to fill open positions at all levels
  • Identify and coordinate job fair participation
  • Conducti New Hire Orientation
  • Manage Job Description maintenance program
  • Manage the performance review process
  • Coordinate management training in interviewing, hiring, disciplinary action, terminations, CPR/First Aid, HIV/AIDS, promotions, performance review, affirmative action, and sexual harassment
  • Advise management in appropriate resolution of employee relations
  • Responsible for investigating and assisting management in responding to all complaints and grievances
  • Respond to inquiries regarding Human Resources policies, procedures, and programs
  • Review & develop policies and procedures as required
  • Assist with projects and implementation of new programs

Minimum Education/Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years Human Resources experience which includes strong focus on recruitment.
  • Experience supervising direct report

Skills Needed
  • Above average skills in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work with employees at all levels or the organization
  • High energy and positive attitude
