Research Assistant

Job Description

The Department of Radiation Oncology and Molecular Radiation Sciences is looking for a Research Assistant to perform research and scholarly work on a newly funded R25 Research Education Program.


Specific Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist in conducting hypo fractionated radiotherapy research.
  • Assist with the writing and editing of manuscripts.
  • Present research projects at meetings and conferences.
  • Perform data collection and/or statistical analysis for various research projects.
  • Assist with related education or other tasks related to hypo fractionated radiotherapy as required.


Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in related discipline.
  • Additional related experience may substitute for required education, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in data analysis in radiotherapy research.

Role/Level/Range: ACRO40/E/03/CD  
Starting Salary Range: $15.00 - $30.30 HRLY ($15.00 targeted; Commensurate with experience) 
Employee group: Casual / On Call 
Schedule: M-F 
Exempt Status: Non-Exempt 
Location: School of Medicine Campus
