Overview

The Sound Booth Laborer is responsible for installing and disassembling Sound Booths under the direct supervision of the Lead Sound Booth Laborer

Responsibilities
    Work under direct supervision to install and assemble new Sound Booths; disassemble, move, and reinstall Sound Booths within hospitals, clinics, schools, and or businesses.
  • Assist Supervisor to transport, move and assemble Sound Booths following proper methods as defined by manufacturer specifications; visually check components for defects/damage and communicate these items to Supervisor.
  • Safely perform all assigned tasks, familiar with power tools and moving equipment such as dollies and wheeled carts
  • All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Ability to take direction and apply concepts effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience:

  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have reliable transportation to work location; Valid Driver's License preferred.
  • At least two years related experience required.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug test and background check.

Travel:

  • This position is subject up to travel up to 25% of the time.
  • Occasionally Sound Booths will be disassembled and relocated to a new site; requiring this position to travel to the new location; in this instance mileage may be reimbursed based upon the federal guidelines for mileage reimbursement.

Physical Requirements:

  • Physical Ability to lift and/or move large, bulky, heavy Sound Booth components; up to 50 pounds; may be on ladders and elevated work areas.
  • Steel or composite toe shoes/boots, required.
