Class Description
The purpose of this class is to perform professional level administrative duties by coordinating the daily operations of student intake and assessments for the Adult Basic and Adult Secondary Education unit through the Consolidated Adult Education and Family Literacy Grant provided by Maryland Department of Labor.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required, degree in Education, Psychology, or related field and. Master’s degree preferred. Two (2) years’ experience in adult education (i.e., adult literacy, basic literacy, GED, ESOL) including teaching and administering standardized tests experience required. The ability to work evenings as needed is required.
Compensation within the posted range is determined by a candidate's education level and/or years of experience in the field. Generally, employees are hired in the lower third of the scale.
