Job Overview
UC Clermont College is seeking applications for instructors in the business areas of management and marketing. Applications are being accepted on a continuous basis to be included in the general pool of candidates from which part-time faculty are selected to teach face-to-face and online courses.
As an adjunct faculty member, you will provide course instruction in an online and/or face-to-face format, incorporating innovative teaching methodologies, cutting-edge technologies and other industry trends reflecting advancements in your discipline. Essential Functions
- On a part-time basis, conduct and teach assigned undergraduate courses.
- Review, and where necessary, respond in a timely manner to all University-related communications.
- Other related duties as assigned.
- Responsibilities include equipping students with the required skill set, facilitating student interaction with the instructor, other students and course content, assessing student performance, and preparing students to be successful leaders in their chosen profession.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Business Administration or Bachelor’s of Science with a concentration in management or marketing and a master’s degree in business administration.
- Three years teaching experience in either subject area at the freshman and sophomore level.
- Online teaching experience is required and the candidate must be willing to complete additional online teaching training.
- Some of the required online training must happen prior to teaching a course and that is provided by our college.
Additional Qualifications Considered
- Bachelors and Masters in Business Administration with a concentration in both management and marketing.
- Completion of Quality Matters Training is preferred.
- Three years online teaching experience and experience teaching in a two year college environment is preferred.
