Overview

The Project Liaison is responsible for daily project coordination, which includes and is not limited to: contacting property owners explaining program details, data collection through mail, DocuSign, phone, email etc., assist in the field with difficult property owners and other stakeholders, attend fielding walks and preconstruction field meetings, as well as, maintaining tracking reports and other reporting tools. They will work with staff, contractors and the to support the Outreach group. This position requires good written and interpersonal communication skills, excellent judgement, and the ability to work both independently and as part of various project teams. Experience in real estate, sales, public utility or consulting engineering environments is desired. A notary license is desired.

Responsibilities
    Work with Property Owners in delivering program details and buy-in through phone and mail
  • Obtain signature on easements and permission to enter forms
  • Field Crew and Property Owner coordination
  • Attend and take minutes when required
  • Manage document and tracking templates
  • Learn and apply new software tools or systems as needed
  • Maintain hard copy and electronic files
  • Perform bulk mailings
  • Perform extensive research for data collection
  • Attend Community events as needed
  • Be willing to take on other responsibilities as needed
Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree in relevant field
  • In Office Position
  • Notary License - desired
  • Positive attitude, ability to work collaboratively
  • Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software
  • 5+ years of experience in project control or related roles
  • 5+ years of experience in a scheduling or office-support function, especially in public utility or consulting engineering environments
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, highly organized and detail oriented
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including demonstrated ability to work with leadership
  • Experience with dash boarding and cloud-based project management tools, including PowerBI, SmartSheet, Procore
  • Demonstrated experience working with the public over the phone and through email
  • Experience participating in client meetings
  • Ability to develop and implement process improvements
  • Evaluation is based, in part on the timely, accurate completion of work

The pay range for this position is $30.00- $32.00 per hour; however, base pay offered may be higher or lower depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience of the candidate. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. This information is provided per California Senate Bill 1162.
