Essential Job Duties

The purpose of this position is to provide the intern with training in clinical research including hypothesis generation and testing, data collection, basic statistical analysis, scientific writing and presentation and review of the literature. The position is designed to embed the individual in a clinical research program that will also allow them to acquire specialized clinical skills such as gait evaluation, MRI, and electrophysiological studies.

Other Duties and Responsibilities

The person in this position will perform research in the canine spinal cord injury program. They will be responsible for data acquisition and optimization on gait, cognition, sensation, as well as blood and MRI biomarkers and questionnaires and owner communications.

Other Work/Responsibilities

The intern will be a part of a large team of clinicians, research technicians and postdoctoral fellows and as such will spend time coordinating and communicating with the team.

Work Schedule

Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., occasional after-hours work
