Essential Job Duties

The graduate student will report to the Associate Head and Chief Curator and will assist with reference questions and requests, as assigned by staff, and will correspond with researchers. They will assist with processing researcher duplications requests and reference requests, including retrieving materials, unpacking them, and reshelving them daily. They will also process archival materials as assigned by staff. The graduate student will provide other support to Special Collections staff including monitoring the Special Collections Reading Room during appointments on Saturdays, ensuring the safety of archival materials, opening and closing the Reading Room, and other duties as assigned.
