The NAF Academy will introduce students from across the state to hands-on, STEM-focused opportunities in addition to career exploration and college preparation. The NAF Academy Residential Counselor will be responsible for the supervision and safety of students enrolled in the NAF Academy. Direct responsibilities include: supervision of students, implementation of program activities, ensuring a safe environment for students and staff, monitoring students’ curfews, managing student behavioral issues, promoting college as the next step for high school students, planning programming, and other duties that aid in the goals of the NAF Academy.

Must serve as a positive role model for students and have proven ability in establishing rapport with students and staff while encouraging the importance of cooperation and a positive attitude.
