Assistant Professor - Business Management

The College of Business is searching for an Assistant Professor in Business Management, with an emphasis in Strategy, beginning Fall 2025. Successful applicants for Assistant Professor (tenure-track) will possess an earned doctorate in Management or a related discipline. ABD candidates near completion will be considered.

THE POSITION

This is a full-time, tenure-track position. Faculty will be expected to perform the following duties:

  • Serve as a core faculty member in Management on the campus in Denton, Texas
  • Teach undergraduate and graduate-level courses in the discipline, including Business Policy
  • Be able to teach in online, hybrid, and face-to-face formats
  • Participate in department, university, and professional service
  • Maintain a strong research agenda, publishing scholarly work, and adhering to the TWU College of Business Faculty Qualifications and Engagement Policy for AACSB accreditation

The College of Business currently has approximately 950 undergraduate students and 1,100 graduate students. The College has three areas/departments: Department of Management & Marketing, Department of Accounting & Finance, and Healthcare Administration.
