Description
The Missoula College invites applications for a Career and Technical Education Coach to provide comprehensive career coaching services and support to diverse student groups at Missoula College. The Career Coach also works in collaboration with Missoula College departments and program chairs to support Internship opportunities, career-oriented workshops, and career fairs.

Examples of Duties and Responsibilities
- Offering individual career coaching appointments.
- Assisting with academic and career decision making, job search processes, interviewing assistance.
- Presenting career-related workshops and specialized classroom presentations.
- Provide career related assessment for students to aid in major and career selection.
- Aid Office of Student Success regarding retention and persistence programming and support for all student populations at Missoula College.
- Provide structured support and career coaching/mentoring for students on academic probation and academic suspension.
- Aid of Office of Student Success in academic reinstate assessments and support programming for Missoula College students.
- Other community outreach duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, as well as two (2) years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to network, collaborate, and problem solve with diverse groups and individuals.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects or to change priorities quickly and frequently.
- Ability to effectively communicate in oral and written form and present to small and large audiences.
- Ability to design and present career and special topic presentations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of applicable UM policy and procedures.
Additional Information
Position Number: 097770
Work Schedule: Full-time, 1.0 FTE (40 Hours a week), Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Academic Year (10 months/year, August through May).
Probationary Period: Six (6) months minimum
