Position Overview

The Department of Performing Arts at Rider University seeks an innovative and interdisciplinary dance artist to serve as adjunct instructor of Dance for the Spring, 2025 beginning January 23, 2025. This position is to teach Dance: Dance & Film.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • BA, BFA, or MFA in Dance or equivalent professional teaching/choreographic/performing experience in the field, with particular emphasis on the intersections of Dance and Film, Dance and Media, Dance and Technology.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Past experience teaching at an institution of higher education

  • Professional experience performing and/or choreographing/creating at the intersection of Dance and Film.
