Position: Tenure-Track Assistant Professor in Business Analytics
Location: Park University’s flagship campus is located in Parkville, MO, within the Kansas City Metropolitan Area.
The College of Management at Park University invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor, appointment effective Fall 2025. Duties and responsibilities include active engagement in teaching, research, institutional services and curricular development activities at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
The primary teaching responsibility for this position is to teach online and face-to-face graduate courses in the Master of Science in Information Systems & Business Analytics program. Graduate courses are offered in 8-week sections, and the typical graduate faculty teaching load is six courses per year.
Secondary teaching responsibilities include teaching courses in the MBA, MHA, BSBA, or other programs. The candidate is expected to be proficient in one of the business domains such as management science, quantitative methods, supply chain logistics, operations management, marketing, accounting, finance, management information systems, healthcare administration, etc.
Park Tenure-Track faculty are also expected to actively engage in curricula activities, provide institutional services, and maintain an active research program at the appropriate for a teaching-focused university. The regular tenure-clock is six years.

Required Qualifications:
Processed at the time of employment, a Doctorate in an analytical field in business or a closely related field, such as Business Analytics, Management Science, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Operations/Supply Chain Management, Marketing Analytics, Quantitative Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, etc., from an accredited institution.
(ABD can be considered with commitment to completion within one year after the effective date of employment.)
Demonstrated potential for teaching excellence with evidences from prior teaching experiences which could include preparing lectures, delivering lectures, designing assignments, grading assignments, and advising or mentoring students.
Demonstrated potential for maintaining an active research agenda.
Preferred Qualifications:
Teaching experiences as a sole instructor.
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Course development experience or evidence of the ability to develop online and in-person courses.
Experience in teaching using Canvas or other LMS tools.
Relevant professional work experiences.
