Position Overview
- The Accountant's main responsibilities include reconciliations, journal/cash receipt entries and reporting related to cash and investments. A high degree of problem solving and knowledge of basic accounting principles are required.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree is required with an emphasis in accounting, finance, or business is preferred.
- Demonstrated strong mathematical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with high attention to detail.
- Demonstrated knowledge of banking and investments.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively use a PC with Excel, Microsoft Word, accounting, and banking software. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to operate independently, prioritize and organize own work schedule, multi-task, and meet established deadlines.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Experience in budgeting and forecasting is preferred.
A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience is preferred.
