Post Doctoral Fellow - Forestry and Environmental Conservation
Job Description
A postdoctoral research associate (PRA) vacancy is available at the Department of Forestry and Environmental Conservation, Clemson University. The incoming PRA will pursue research to ascertain the issues and challenges faced by relevant stakeholder groups in light of declining participation in the Conservation Reserve Program (CRP) in the Southern United States using suitable qualitative/quantitative tools. The incoming PRA is expected to complete research within about seven months (Oct 2024 – April 30, 2025). Remote work is acceptable. Part-time work is allowed as well. This position will pay $69,000/year, along with health and retirement benefits. Opportunities for career development are also available at Clemson University.
Qualifications
Candidates with relevant educational backgrounds (Ph.D. required) are encouraged to apply. International candidates are encouraged as well. Experience in designing surveys and conducting in-person/online interviews is needed. Skills in quantitative/qualitative data analysis are preferred. A record of publishing in refereed journals is encouraged but not required.
