About the Department

Dairy Records Management Systems (DRMS) provides herd management information solutions and software to 10,000+ dairy farmers in 45 states and Puerto Rico. DRMS serves dairy farmers through farmer cooperatives. DRMS develops desktop, mobile, and cloud solutions for on-farm management and information analysis for dairy farmers. It utilizes a SQL cloud-based data warehouse and in-house-developed applications for data collection, lab management, data merging, record computation, report generation, information analysis, dashboard reporting, print center management, and business recovery. Dairy farmers utilize DRMS applications and reports to manage their dairy herds to ensure the farms efficiently produce high-quality products while maintaining a profitable dairy operation. After remote users collect data using DRMS and third-party applications, they send it via the Internet to DRMS servers. Then, automated DRMS systems aggregate, validate, enhance, and correct data to enable data processing and analysis. The resulting information is disseminated to dairy farms and associated companies in the dairy industry via DRMS software, website, or printed reports.
