What You'll Do

The Associate Director, Digital Fundraising is a key member of the Digital Fundraising team in the Michigan Medicine Development office.  This team is focused on developing a robust digital peer-to-peer, crowdfunding, student philanthropy, and corporate engagement program. Under the supervision of the Director, the Associate Director contributes to the development and execution of digital fundraising programs and communications strategies with a primary focus on driving donor acquisition and prospect engagement via digital platforms including social media, social communities, student philanthropy, corporate cause marketing partnerships, and crowdfunding programs. This individual will work in a highly collaborative manner with many different facets of the organization to advance the overall fundraising goals of the University of Michigan.

The onsite location for this position is an office suite at the 777 Building. This provides free, on-site parking for staff.

This position is a flexible, hybrid position.  Candidates will need to live in a commutable distance to the office and the expectation is to work from the office 3 days a week, except while on university business.  Flexible work agreements are reviewed annually and are subject to change dependent on business needs.

Background Screening

Michigan Medicine conducts background screening and pre-employment drug testing on job candidates upon acceptance of a contingent job offer and may use a third party administrator to conduct background screenings.  Background screenings are performed in compliance with the Fair Credit Report Act. Pre-employment drug testing applies to all selected candidates, including new or additional faculty and staff appointments, as well as transfers from other U-M campuses.
