Job Summary

The University of Michigan College of Engineering is looking for an experienced Administrative Assistant for our project management team.  The individual holding this role will play a significant part in ensuring the smooth flow of our day-to-day operations while thriving in cross-functional collaboration, working with diverse teams of faculty, students, and staff at all levels within the college.

This position involves providing key administrative assistance to our project managers and business analysts, including but not limited to, coordinating meetings, engaging in light business analyst work, and contributing to project management processes. 

We are looking for a proficient multi-tasker with keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of project management principles and practices and demonstrate the potential to take on more substantial project management tasks over time.

You are an organized, self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills. Experienced in project management, you are adept at coordinating meetings, participating in business analysis tasks, and managing project deadlines and deliverables. Proficient in using tools like MS Office Suite, Zoom, Google Drive, and Doodle Polls, you bring a detail-oriented and proactive approach to problem-solving. You thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments and are passionate about contributing to the field of education.

This position is temporary, approximately 30-40 hours per week
